Switch on the lamp by touching the plant

The NOTA lamp was developed within the „Circular“ Project as a symbolic product to showcase that we should not take any materials we take from nature for granted and to use our resources responsibly. It hast the ability to absorb and mineralize Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), converting them into particles that are harmless to both the evironment and human beings.

Its Form is inspired by folded leaves and its Shell imitates the lamellae of mushrooms to maximize the surface area to make the product even more effective. The lamp is 3D printed on a common FDM printer and fully recyclable without loosing its properties. It has the property of becoming Co2 negative after prolonged use. The design of the product is based on the Circular Design Guide by the @ellenmacarthurfoundation. The whole lamp is build without screws or glue.
